Son is an experienced campaigner, organiser and facilitator. He brings years of experience working alongside communities fighting for a better world. Son drives forward ECU's movement building  work, with a particular focus on grassroots groups working on economic justice, and increasing power and solidarity across the new economy movement.

Before ECU, he was a community organiser at Act Build Change where he trained and coached leaders from different social movements. Son also has wide ranging experience in facilitation and has supported groups to navigate conflict, develop strategy, and take action to build collective power.
